Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. The quote form requests just six pieces of information: your gender, date of birth, how you'd describe your health, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you want, and what term length interests you. That is enough for carriers to show you rates. Only if you decide to move forward with an application do we ask for your name, address or detailed health information.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The prices shown are what carriers quote for the specific health class you selected. After you apply, underwriting may confirm that class, improve it, or move you to a different tier — so the final premium depends on their assessment. These quotes are estimates for comparison only and are not a guarantee or offer of insurance at any specific price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll enter your name, and we'll open the application using the exact quote you chose. It continues on the carriers' secure platform, where it asks for the details underwriting needs. You can stop at any time and come back to it later. When you're ready, you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), handles the entire process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on which carrier you choose, the amount of coverage and your health answers. Many carriers now use accelerated underwriting to make decisions without an exam for qualified applicants. Every quote on this site tells you whether a medical exam is required, possibly required, or not needed for that particular product.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term that covers the years when your family would really need that money: paying off a mortgage, raising children, or covering a business obligation. Longer terms cost more per month but keep your premium locked for more years. Our tool makes it easy to compare rates for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year terms and see the difference between them.
Does this site sell my information?
We absolutely do not. The quote tool doesn't ask for your contact information, we don't sell or share any visitor data, and we use privacy-first measurement without cookies. Visit our privacy page for the complete explanation of what information is collected and who has access to it.
